BofA offers free trades if your combined account is $25k or more.

Yes B of A does, but the 25k has to be in checking, CD's or Money Markets, so it was useless for me.

Thanks for sharing! As long as they won't take my money and run, I'm all for free trades.

I'm very seriously considering opening an account and/or transferring my Scottrade account. I can handle the $7 commissions at ST, but it would be nice to reinvest dividends free of charge when they come in. Otherwise I'm kinda forced to let them accumulate in my account until I can add money.

Zecco charges money for every mutual fund trade - is that the same as an ETF (like DIA or QQQQ)?

shouldn't charge for ETF trades. if they do, i won't be happy.

No, ETFs trade just like stocks so they will not charge you @zecco
