I am a professional trader and some of the best readings I've had are already mentioned here..

- Market Wizards (both of them)

- Liars Poker

- Reminiscence of a Stock operator

- John Hull's book on Options (if you're into derivatives) - known as the bible for derivatives trading

Also, I wouldn't spend a dime on any of the TA books. Just a personal opinion.

Monkey Business is hilarious! For anyone in IB, they should read it religiously!

Barbarians at the Gate was good too.

Another one - 'When Genius Failed' - it outlines the LTCM debacle - biggest hedge fund blow up ever.

Has anyone read "Your Money and Your Brain: How the New Science of Neuroeconomics Can Help Make You Rich" by Jason Zweig

I am interested on the psychology of the Stock markets, any recommendations?
Next on my list to read, after I finish "The Wisdom of Crowds" by James Surowiecki.

I finished the Jason Zweig book, it is interesting for people who belive in behavioral finance, Like, I see it every day at work

I also read last week John Bogle "little book of common sense investing" where explains the benefit of being indexed

Now I do not have time to read more books because I need time to study the CFA :-( for June's Exam.

The next one would be Against the Gods: The Remakable story of risk Peter L. Bernstein

Every beginner in investing should read this book by David F. Swenson,

Unconventional Success: A Fundamental Approach to Personal Investment

Great book that helps to break down the various methods of investing. The author is the chief investing officer for Yale university.

I just finished a book by a guy named something like Brett Steenbarger called The Psychology of a trader. Every equity/debt investor should read this.
