Make changes to 1099 after eFile?
 

I found an error on my 1099 tax form, but I already did the eFile. I read that I can still do changes to it, but have to wait after tax return came in and then I have mail in a 1044x form.

That sounds right?

Correct, wait until the return is fully processed and you receive your refund in the mail before you file an amendment. I had to do exactly the same thing this year.
