STEM (Stem Cell Inc.) just posted a gain of 127% yesterday and 8.33% today. This is a bargain basement stock selling now at 1.82 per share.

ASTM (Aastrom) had a gain of 23% since Friday and this is a real bargain that you really can't get hurt on at 47 cents a share today

Sorry for thread jacking, but could I purchase stocks with $1500(all the money I have at 18 years of age) I tried going through stock brokers but they require an initial investment of 10K

Some of the on line brokerages only require a 1000 to start with and you can add money as you go. You don't get any advise from them though and check out the fees they charge per trade.

Try DRIP places where initial funding can be as little as $20, each transaction $6.99 or even less. It's not real-time, but I don't suggest super short term trading (less than a few days) anyway.
