WAMU or LEHMAN

I stuck it out w/ ETrade as well - they've never skipped a beat from a customer-facing perspective, and accounts are insured (SIPC for brokerage, FDIC for banking).

You can go wrong with either. I work for WF so I'm partial to them, and I just hate BofA on pincinple. But neither of them are going anywhere fast. WF is a lot more conservative, so don't expect 3.x CDs like BofA, but they are extremely stable.

Wamu is now JP Morgan Chase, so no need to move funds. I've banked w/ WF for ages, though, and really like them. Also have accts. w/ BofA, but that's mainly b/c my mortgage is w/ them.
