Default How do microsoft know?

Whilst visiting my favorite forum site (this one) but not logging on I was presented with this alarming advert.

It just seemed so appropriate for a motoring forum, seen any others?

Microsoft know EVERYTHING, especially if you look at their EULA. Windows 10 is just a data collection centre, reminds me that I need to downgrade back to Windows 7.

If you do they will try to reinstall Win 10 without your knowledge and permission first part of the install is looking for updates, and guess what win 10 is one of them, very difficult to avoid. Then if you want to use IE it will nag you every day to upgrade till you go for Chrome or Firefox.
I know I have dual boot 10 and 7, still prefer 7 even if I have lost IE.

In Windows 10 there's no option to stop automatic updates - IIRC that option was there in Windows 7, it'd annoyingly remain in your update list, but you had the choice to download and install.
