Number plate positioning

I've noticed that theres a fashion for young drivers, including some on S2Ki, to mount their front number plates to one side. I think it was inspired by Evos having theirs like that, but it's a shame that no-one's noticed that was a necessity rather than a fashion statement - there's a kid round our way who has moved his plate a foot or two to the left on the front of his otherwise standard boggo Saxo, exposing the plate mounting recess FFS! It's got to be worth 25hp, right?

Anyway, in an attempt to embrace modern car culture I've been experimenting with some alternative positions myself. So here's side mounted.......

Then I went a bit more extreme - on a chair next to the car

It wasn't radical enough though, so next option is 'being held by reluctant child in doorway'....

It still didn't have the originality I wanted, so I tried putting it on someone else's car.....

And up a tree:

Then I decided to try putting it in an old shoe box on the roof:

But that kind of missed the point, until in a moment of pure inspiration, I realised the optimum position is in an old shoe box, on the roof, but to one side.

What do you think? Can any of you do better?

Brilliant!

I guess the whole moved plate thing makes it look more pleasing for front end pics??

If you want to go one step further you need a sticker plate and to the side ;)
