Default NEED LEGAL ADVICE

Hi everyone, I need some help in purchasing a car in your area. Here's the scenario, the owner still financing the car so that means i must go to his bank to pay off the loan, so far so good. Now I want to fly to Vegas and drive the car back but I'm not familiar with your state laws when it comes down to purchasing a car to be taken out of state so to narrow down the question, Once I've paid the bank off and I get a bill of sale from the current owner how do I get a my current tag transferred to the car if I don't have the title, is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

-Wil

Dont quote me but doesn't matter more on your state. I believe you just have to tell you insurance what your plans are and they will put coverage on it. Then you just wait for the title to come in from the lien holder. I dont even think you need to get a temp NV reg. Hopefully someone else will chime in to confirm.

You really do not want to go to LV DMV seriously. Bro first dmv that I have ever seen that sells popcorn and drinks in the DMV,lol. I would try and give the DMV a call to double check they have always been polite and helpful when I call. Good luck bro.

Just get a bill of sale, insurance and documentation of the sale in case you get pulled over...

You should be able to get a temp tag in your state for the vehicle when you put insurance on it
