Anyone with a 2007?
I am seriously considering an 07 to replace the first day 00 I bought in September 1999. Only an idiot would have traded it for a TL (that's me) but I miss it. I like the low-end torque improvements in the AP2 over the AP1 (among many other improvements) but am concerned about the computer controlling the fun factor.
I would appreciate input from former AP1 owners that moved to the AP2 version. Do you feel like you lost the raw feeling that the original S provided?
TIA
John

A couple of the folks over in Vintage have traded in. One guy S1997 just did so, as did Ms Perky and Valentine.
None of them seem to be unhappy with the newer model. If I find the thread where they discussed the differences, I'll link it here.

i have an 06, although i dont care for the stupid dbw... i jsut ignore it, to me the ap2 looks 1000x better stock than the ap1 does stock...
another main reason for 06 is that u can get black interior with gpw
ive driven an 03 before during a test drive but i dont think you can count that as driving it
