Thanks for the info on P car mechanics. Since the car only has 12K on it, we are hoping repairs are a long way off. Once it starts needing repairs, we may have to sell and buy a Miata. We can afford the insurance for the P in retirement, not so sure about repairs....

Lainey, sorry I just saw this. I presume the WRX is sold, right? I bought an Impreza (base model) last year and I love it, but I probably would've jumped all over your WRX. Oh well.

Hey, best wishes!

We did sell it. Charlie. It didn't take too long. Rick priced it to sell as he was tired of dealing with four cars. A young kid (who had to learn how to drive a stick) bought the vehicle. He picked it up on a Friday evening, and was headed to a Subaru meet on the weekend. Haven't heard back from him, so I guess all is well.

Rick put some nice all seasons on the S when it last needed tires. So he's all set for rain and cold...and he also bought a set of inexpensive wheels and some nice meaty snow tires. He'll probably make the switch over this weekend or next.

I sold my Audi RS4 with Car Gurus. I had a great experience. The folks that shop with that site typically are a little more knowledgeable with cars. People have to be a quite bit more honest about information. I would recommend it all day.

Hmmm. I'm looking for an used 10 year old pickup truck. Do you find beaters on car gurus?
