Default Car not starting, too frickin cold

For the last 2 hours I've been trying to get my car started with no luck. It cranks, catches for a second or two, revs to about 1-2 grand then sputters out.

I think it's time to get a block heater. I'm also wondering if the colder plugs I put in are not helping here.

Tank is over 3/4 full. I'm ordering the block heater now. Who's gonna let me use their garage next weekend?

The colder plugs may be fouled. Get a battery charger/boost on it. Accelerator to the floor ... crank it over and gently release the throttle. This will do a flood clear and the extra current should do the trick.

If you get it running and it appears to be running on just 2 or 3 cyclinders, unplug the injectors one at a time until you find the cylinders that are not firing. Leave the injector unpluged for about 30 second to let air pump through the cylinder and then plug it back in. You'll no doubt get a CEL for random misfire but nothing that a reset won't fix once it is warmed up.

If you want to drive all the way down to the crack house, we can install an engine block heater pretty easily.

Kenta, let me know how that block heater works out. I have been interested in that for a while.
