my buddy is looking to buy a new car, he's actually very interested in the Chrysler 300 but Chrysler is ing him with actual delivery.

so his specs are the following

same size range as the Chrysler 300
FWD or AWD

I'd go Acura TL. It's a teeny bit over $30K, but in my opinoin is a great deal considering all the car you get for the money.

Dodge Charger
GTO

Not cars I would consider myself, but they are in the same league as 300C

TL is a nice car, you can propably pick one slightly used or a demo for close to $30k.

TL was the only car I was considering before I purchased the very different S2000. I think it's an amazing vehicle. $35K new with navi and 6 speed. Test drove it and the TSX and really liked both. My father drives an '04 loaded Accord which is amazing...he just turned 70K miles!!!!! He's only changed tires and oil. Previous bodystyle 540i is an awesome ride too. New Avalon is real nice too. Read of one dusting a stock S in the street encounters section.

Please don't let him get the imitation Bentley!

I own an 05 TL AT with Nav and I love it. If your buddy is not interested in Nav and isn't set on a specific color combo, he could come pretty close to 30K this time of year.

I do highly recommend the A-SPEC suspension kit and wheels. This could add another 2K+ to the price depending on his negotiation skills.
