Default GMT DIY's

Well I am not sure how much down time there will actually be at GMT, but if we happen to have any time to kill let's do some helpful DIY's for each other.

I for one have done the top-down while moving mod on my car and would be more than welcome to show anyone else this cool mod if they want to! I helped one gentleman at the spring Mohawk and he seemed happy with the results.

Anyone else done any cool freebie DIY's to their S?

Hey Mike good idea. I'm working hard to keep ya'll as busy as possible but I'm sure there will be time for this if people are interested

Most everyone should be back from the Saturday drive no later than 3 PM and dinner (for those going to banquet) is not until 6:30 so that might be a good time to shoot for.

I'm not sure if I'm ready to do it on my car but I'd love to watch and see how it's done

I'd be interested in seeing this mod done as well and maybe partaking in it as well.

I also have another DIY mod. Most AP2 S2000s shifter boot doesn't actually meet up under the shift knob. I personally like the look of the shift knob and then immediately after boot instead of shift knob, shaft showing, then boot. It's a very easy fix and only requires a zip tie and something to cut the excess zip tie.

Sorry for you 06+ ppl but at the Mohawk Riggs and I were unable to pry off the panel to access the convertible top module, so rather than canibalize the car before the ride we gave up.

We were successful on another Ap1 though.

I have been instructed by Sarah to keep the top up on our Saturday morning drive so I will be a show off and put it down while pulling in to meet you all Sat AM Maybe that will convince some of you to fire it up!

Oops...my bad it also requires an opened ended wrench to remove the shift knob.

Is this the same panel that surrounds your shifter and includes the roof button and so on????

If you saw how clean and neat Josh keeps his car you wouldn't even have to ask

My Ap1 had that same shift boot problem. But with my Voodoo knob on there now it looks sweet
