Boring afternoon at work means the usual. Google satellite of my local mountain range and look for a curvy road with no houses and good pavement.
Found a real nice 5 mile section today that is just around the corner from my place! Hit it going downhill today so I'll rip it up the hill later. Few sharp turns and some good rolling corners good for 60+

Mike you have to come up and visit me sometime... 8 miles from here is NY Route 95 that is about 2 miles of pure driving pleasure.
I've gradually increased speed from 50's (in the Civic this winter) to 75-80 in the S.
When no one gets in front of you it's as good as most tracks for putting a big grin on your face. Hairpin, elevation changes, esses...
It's great in both directions as well, so you can take it into Hoosick Falls then turn around and do it the other way... whole new set of curves to play on
Or heading over towards Albany there is a stretch about 4 miles just outside of Hoosick heading west that is AWESOME! If you don't get other cars in front you of course Otherwise it's kinda like torture

To anyone who has been to the Waterford Wal-Mart in CT. If you've noticed when ur leaving Wal-Mart and ur going to take the 95 North... you cross over it and then take a right which leads to a 3 way stop and then u take a right to get on the 95? Well i got out of work early one day and kept going straight to see what was back there and it turns out theres a two lane road with a semi-steep hill. The road isnt perfect but its good to rip on. and its just short of a 1/4mile lenth
