Looking for a body shop in the RI/Northwestern CT are
So I went to a local body shop to get a number for the installation of my Voltex front and rear over fenders. I've had this same shop spray and mount my lip in the past, and that was $100, so I was thinking around $600-$800 with spraying and doing the trimming.
I just got a number of $2175! That seems really really high given the amount of work that needs to be done, and I think it's mainly because he doesn't do this type or work and he's a bit concerned about cutting into my virgin S. Am I crazy for thinking it would be less?
Either way I need to find a reputable shop to get this done, at hopefully a reasonable rate. If anyone has some experience with shops doing this type of work let me know!
Opinions/input very welcome!
Meant Northeastern CT, not western

I would ask if Max is there to talk to. If they say no or I don't know that person then it's not the same place I went to. Max is an old school S2000 guy!
I know he doesn't stop by here any more but if you strike out post up again and I will see if I can find out if he is still working in the industry and where.
Other option is in Connecticut. F-40 Motorsports. Yes it's the guy you see on TV. They charge more than your standard body shop but they do amazing work and it's guaranteed for life.
