Default memorial weekend drive

Is anyone thinking about setting up a drive on memorial day weekend? Would love to get together with a small group and maybe do the mohawk trail. Just seeing if anyone is interested

If you want one, set it up. Everyone wants a meet, except no one wants to plan and organize the meet. Take the initiative and people will come. I guarantee nothing will come of this idea otherwise though.

What he said. Plan it, post it and some folks will show up. Just pick a meet spot and maybe a place to get a bite to eat along the way. You don't have to host a meet at your home/apartment to organize a meet.

"Back in the day" there were many more meets being organized. Time have changed. Some folks have moved on, some have moved away, some lack of interest, and sometimes there may be a bit of generation gap with new members. . We are not into hanging around looking under the hoods of other S2000's, but hey if it works for you............The forum needs some fresh new ideas anyway.

Don't expect a huge turnout at every meet. Not every meet appeals to all. If someone wants to bring along a +1, a tech day may not cut it, whereas a drive with lunch or a stop at a winery may.

Good luck.

PS Jim/Pas2kNut plans the Fall Crawl and one is being planned now. It's a fun event.

Fall Crawl

You don't have to stay at the hotel, but you do have to register and pay a fee to participate. It's worth it!

Always enjoyed this drive. This weekend weather doesn't look promising. Will there be definite date suggested? I'd be interested.
