Am looking for a non-dealer shop that is familiar with S2000's, preferably in the lakes region. Would appreciate it if anybody has history with one up here.

Scotty at dynonh.com is very good. He did my 2.4L stroker engine swap in my 2002 AP1. Scotty can handle anything you need to do to your s2000. But they get booked out during the non-winter months.

While I am certainly no fan of dealers generally, I have been extremely happy with the work that the service department at Gerrish Honda in West Lebanon, NH has done on my ap1. I would use them for most things in a heart beat. Not sure what the issue is you are trying address with your car.

I second this. Scotty at dynonh.com is very good. Scott has done plenty of work to my AP1 (clutch, fluids, TCT etc...) You can send him a PM at Scottyballistic.
