I'm in if my car is ready by then. Chances are it's a yes but I'd like to hear back on helmet and roll bar requirements.

I don't think my helmet is SA2015 so I might have to snag a new one

I did the Track Night at Thompson last night and it was an absolute blast. I got a total of close to an hour of track time. The only downside I would say is we did have some people who took quite some time to give a point by but overall it was a great experience. TNIA novice seems to be a good first track day to get to know the car on track before attending a quicker paced hpde event. I Will more than likely be attending an hpde next so that I can get an instructor and more track time.

I believe you only need an SA2005 or newer.

Hi Blake! I had the red, stickered up S. I did take some pictures, although autofocus wasn't particularly great on my camera. There are a few of you in here

I was in the intermediate and noticed a few drivers reluctant to point-by (I'm looking at you, white C63 AMG) but definitely want to go back. Thompson is a bit more novice friendly than Palmer due to more run off imo.

Here's a video of my final session https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzNjZXWaLhM I know my line could use some work but it was a ton of fun

Hey Nik! Thanks for the pics! I can't believe how much different our cars are on track. I'm having to downshift at nearly every turn but the AP2 just seems to have enough low end to stay in a higher gear much more often. I'm ready to get back out there for sure.

I'm interested but I need to be fitted for a helmet.

Anyone know of a shop that sells helmets, preferably in the greater Boston area? I can stretch it to Worcester since I work out there.

Al Sandy told me that if SCCA is ok with the stock roll bar, we are good to go. I can try to contact SCCA to be sure...

I contacted them about this. Jack Track responded saying S2000's across all model years are good to go. Never hurts to double check though.
