Default Terrible May weather

I guess we should be thankful that we don't have the floods they are experiencing down the Mississippi, but still this, this weather stinks. It was bad enough before this non-stop rain, but now it is downright depressing. And who knows, we may have floods of our own before this is over.

Yeah, it's depressing, but at least it's green out. I'll still take it over last March's flooding. And besides, this is the time of year that pollen makes being outside extra gross, so hopefully the rain will keep that to a minimum.

I think I've had the toy out of the garage 3 or 4 times at most.
And since it needs rears really badly, it's not going out in the wet weather either.

Yep, sucky weather. The heat is still running and I'm still wearing two layers of clothes. This is May?
The S has been out only a few times. It's under cover now.

However, yes, we are thankful we don't have the same problems as last spring, or those down south.

saw on the news today that our friends in CT are having flooding problems today. Hopefully nothing too bad. I have tickets to the Red Sox game tonight. That should be fun. [Quack}

Took a weekend trip down to DC this past weekend and almost had to stop in Maryland on the way home because of the amount of rain. Looking like a break for this weekend through to Monday though

Coaching my son's little league team through this weather, it has been difficult to get momentum.

But, yeah Bill. Hard to complain about this with what's going on with Old Man River out there...

Amidst the raindrops today, the DCR planted a tree on my property as part of the reforestation project underway here due to the Asian longhorn beetle (nasty pest). I'll try to snap a picture of the little tree soon!

This year has been the wettest March/April/May on record for these parts.....Northern NY/Vt. My S still hasn't had to go to the gas station yet this year.

My mother said that she has never seen so much water flowing through their back yard(not a river or stream just their back yard) ever in the 40 years they have lived there. It came down fast and it was a LOT. Rivers near us are not over flowing their banks but they are pushing the limits!

We have a nice natural pond forming beside our houses.
