XD picture cards
I got those 512MB XD picture cards I ordered, BUT, though it didn't say so on line, there is an "M" prefix in front of the 512MB. As far as I can tell those cards won't be compatible with my camera. :(
Office Max gave me full credit, no return needed. Most of you camera folks use 1 or 2 g cards. Anyone use the XD cards? Maybe we can make a deal?  |
try and see if they work lainey.

I will.....especially now that they are free. Olympus site didn't have a BIG DOT on any card with a letter as a prefix as being compatible.

Lainey, make sure your next camera is a canon you wont have these issues.

I tired one card. It didn't work. Does anyone use the XD picture cards around here? |
I tried it again. I got a "Write protected" message, but see nothing on the card. Then I formatted it, and it took a couple of pictures. When I look at them after the fact, I only see the pic at about 1/4 of the size and the rest is black (this is when looking at them on the camera screen). Then I got a message that said "card error" and the camera freezes up.
The Olympus web site indicates the "M" card does not work with my camera, I guess they are right.....anyone need a couple of XD picture cards 512 MG? |
Well. if you can't get rid of them anywhere else, my cameras can use XD cards.
