Yo Erick and other cash challenged young guys!
It is funny how hardcore all you guys are when you are freezing or being scorched by the sun in the S but still refuse to put the top up, but as soon as you step outside the S, it's a whole different story!!!
But back to topic at hand. I have a check card and use it when I run out of cash, but I prefer to pay with cash because I don't want my personal card info all over the place so some company who keeps my data on a laptop ends up losing it or gets stolen or hacked into. What would be ideal is a card that you can refill, is wireless like the T passes and doesn't require signature or personal info. I would use that all the time. I'm all for moving to a cashless society...I hate dealing with change, coins and the stupid bills. I feel like playing monopoly everytime I make an exchange...here you go, I give you two pieces of worthless fiber/paper for the food. It just feels like a game.

30 isn't exactly a young gun, but I carry little to no cash at all ever. There is just barely any purpose for it anymore and it gets in the way. It's much faster to use the Visa check card and be done with it. Or even better the debit way and not have to sign anything either.
I love that commercial that shows everything working smoothly until some jerk uses cash and it all grinds to a halt. I can't believe that people still write paper checks at the grocery store anymore. What a PITA! I always feel like telling the person that a Visa check card draws from your checking account and is not credit and much easier. Oh, can you tell this is one of my pet peeves???

I'll use my debit/credit card whenever I can. I keep some cash in my wallet for the times where the card isn't practical - fast food. one beer, etc. - but rarely more than $20.
Bank of america keep the change FTW - i'm always puttin a little money away!

So, in checking the results of my poll in Vintage, I see FOUR people have responded they need no cash, they have Rick and Lainey.
I know Erick is one, not sure who the others are.
Is Jeff/sireousrex counting a $2.00 ice cream cone?
Right now, the "carry very little cash, use debit/credit cards" is the winner, but the key is to carry SOME cash.
