Hello All,

I normally don't post at all, but I do read a whole lot.

For the first time I have a serious need from you guys. I desperately need an experienced Honda mechanic to replace the clutch on my 88K 2005 s2k. I've already purchased an OEM Exedy replacement kit via Amazon (Link). After doing some research it's clear that not only does the job invlove the removal of the transmission, but also lowering the engine slightly.

I am clearly not going to tackle this myself, nor am I going to crowd into a friend's garage and do it myself like to good 'ol days. This car has earned its place in my house and it needs a good doctor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hope Honda has changed the plug setup for the heated O2 sensors in the exhaust manifold and cat. The first clutch replacement I had done on my 2001, the shop hooked up the O2 sensors wrong and smoked the ECU. You will not find the TSB for that until you start looking for why you have a CEL after the job is done. OOps. too late. The ECU is already smoked by then.

The shop did make it right so I took them three more clutch jobs after that.
