the 17" rim will be 1" larger than what you are on now, the 18" will be 2".























you'll find people helpful here but they'll likely want to know of your car will sit in a garage on this stance or go to the track on weekends or something inbetween.

When I asked this I was told to keep in mind the cost for an 18" tire will be considerably more.

im not going to track the car but i do plan on dropping it. I still want it to handle well tho.It basically a weekend car.

I personally think depends on the type of wheel some look better in 18" some look better in 17" most imo 17" are better. Everyone says about tires being more but I didnt notice much a diff but maybe just me

I liked my 18x9.5+40 nt03m's....275/35 tires.

Will they fit on a stock body? No way...but the car handled like it was on rails. Also had virtually no understeer.

Id decide if you want to do future body mods first, and if you are save up and do it all at once instead of buying wheels now then buying new wheels with different widths/offsets

By the way I hate stretched tires with "poke" as the vw retards call it.
