Just make sure its safe basically.

check out scca.com

Its thinks like brakes arent worn, seatbelts, anything that could fly about in the cabin is secured or removed, battery is tied down tight etc etc

All the ones that I have been to are just like that.

The only thing is that for I think Motorsport Northeast, you need to register a slot for the day prior to the event on their site and when you get there, you pay up front.

Oh... and don't forget to be prepared to work. EVERYONE WORKS!!!! And if you skip out on your job assignment without telling anyone, they register your name, car, and plates and they won't let you run at their events again.

I've never seen them check brakes before. But of course, you should always do you own self check before heading out there for your own personal safety and others as well that are on the course.

The only thing that they are really concerned about most of the time is that you have a seat belt, helmet, and nothing loose in the interior.

And important thing that most forget to check are your tire pressures. On hot days, you should be around the 35 psi mark with cold tires. Some run more and less, but that depends on the specific conditions of the day.

Yeah pre-register if you can! It makes things go quicker when you arrive. However, it is not mandatory. However, if there are days where 100 preregistered cars show up, then you may not be able to run. Although I have yet to see this.

Nice thread Andre. As soon as my wheels arrive, I'm in. I don't have one good rear tire otherwise I would run on my 16s. Maybe I'll buy one to save my 17s lol .. hmm.

So what exactly do you have to do? I've heard about this before but was unsure of what that entailed.

BTW, does anyone know of shops that carry a bunch of different brands of helmets to try on?

You stand around a region of the field that is assigned to you. If a car hits a cone, you run out and place it back in it's proper location. Bring a water bottle, it gets boring and on hot days, exhausting.

Hey Andre, are you down to go to one of the BMW events at the Raritan Center? It's not too far. Lets beat up on some Z4s
