we have been watching it to see if the weather changes, we plan to make a decision Friday night.

Disappointed to hear its cancelled (announced on FB). Safety more important, I get that. Seems like rain is gonna be mostly an evening thing, possible, perhaps likely entire event would be rain free.

Also possible it wouldn't. Not an easy decision to make, and will always be some that question it.

there was a few times where I didn’t cancel it and then we ended up doing the drive in the rain. Then another time, midway through the drive it started to snow. And now with the weather being cold, plus possible rain, it wouldn’t be as enjoyable.
