assuming you have NJ license - totally different for NY license - you'll be able to nogtiate it. lawyer, as it was noted, is a must. if possible, get a lawyer in same ordinance. they will most likely have connection with local court house.

thanks for the input guys.
over on clubrsx they are all telling me i'm going to get my license suspended etc..
i think i will just go with the lawyer and see what happens.

Another victim of our bureucratic "safety" system. It's ok man, I've gotten much worse tickets or combination thereof 
. One of two things; They will either drop it to two points with a higher fine or give you the five full points. Depending on how good your lawyer is...which really depends on how deep your pockets are 
. Depending on the judge they may give you a court ordered suspension from 1-6 months. But thats not always the case. This is coming from someone who has gotten this same citation 3+... so trust me on this one 
P.S. NOT HAVING A LAWYER IS NOT AN OPTION
