yeah.. i'm pretty pissed right now. immediately after i asked him what happened and if the cop asked about me, his reply was "yeah, he asked me who i was racing and i said i don't know."

Plead not guilty and when the cop shows up (and he will) ask him directly,he has no reason to lie

If you can reduce your points to 2 and agree to take a defensive driving course, maybe they'll spare you a suspension and just ask for like $400... In any case, a lawyer would be best.
