Not going to happen. You would need to prove that you do things OUT OF THE ORDINARY, like make 250K deposits at 11pm. Doing 4000 in cash business is not enough to get a CCW in NY.

A friend of mine is in the diamond business, and transports (on himself) 3MM worth of diamonds on him, and was denied.

The above is

1)For LONG ISLAND ONLY. Manhattan/Queens/BK, etc is not going to happen, so don't bother.

2)For a CCW, not personal home/range use.
i was just going by the suffoulk county licensing application requirements on their website. And im looking for a CCW in Long Island. Not NYC.

And there has to be a reason why your friend got denied one when hes in the diamond business; etc. Background check maybe? im clean from any felonies or misdemeanors.

A friend of mine has a ccw who owns a few pizzerias and does about 6-7k in cash deposits a week.

IMO the best advice to protecting yourself is not posting how much you carry with you and your store address in another thread. Plenty of lurkers here up to no good. Be safe bro.

I know your business is in LI, but you live in Queens right? That means when you would have to on your way home pull over. Unload. Place magazine, firearm, and bullets separately in a locked compartment in your car. Then proceed to drive home.

Anyways $4K cash won't get you near a CCW license. Alot of people carry that and more around without a CCW a day. Then theres the $40k in accessories, thats what insurance is for.
Nah don't live in queens anymore. Back in LI.

And my insurance covers my accessories and my cash but that still doesn't mean i can go through insurance everytime something happens since losing $40k in accessories, insurance will cover it but they will not cover my loss of business.

and you being in jail for shooting someone would cover your cost of business?
Not trying to split hairs here just playing devil’s advocate.
