Anyone near Eatontown, NJ?
Hello,
I am looking at a 2008 S2000 at Circle BMW in Eatontown. However, I am in the West Coast, and would love to see if anyone nearby could please share a few minutes and take a cursory look at the car (checking all 10 VIN stickers, no signs of paintwork, no tears in the roof, etc.) before I take it in for a full PPI.
Please let me know! Thank you so much in advance.

Hi there! I live 10 min and work 5 min from Circle BMW. I've seen that car on the lot, they've had it for several months. I'd be happy to give it a cursory look for you, just give me a day or two as it is raining today into tomorrow AM.

Just to follow up and in case anyone else is looking at this:
I looked at the car about a month ago for the OP. It is not without issues. It looks like most of the car has been repainted (Circle BMW acknowledged some of this and said they repainted the front bumper, although I think the extent of the previous repaint is beyond what they realized). The job isn't horrible but you definitely won't be getting a 'pristine' factory paint job. There is the usual tear in the soft top with another developing (visible from the inside), not abnormal, just a point of information. As for maintenance items, the front brake calipers are unusually rusty and have non-honda brake pads behind them. The oil filter is also not OE. Brake fluid could use a change. Without going into crazy detail that's the long and short of it. Maybe a good driver for someone who wants an S but certainly not a perfect specimen.
