Anyone work for an HVAC contractor?
I'm replacing a gas-fired hot-water boiler and gas-fired water heater. The contractor is also doing some air sealing / insulation. The work is being done under a NJ-State program that pays 50% of the total cost!
However, the work needs to be completed by an authorized contractor. There are very few in NJ who do the work. I have an estimate but I'm not sure if they have jacked up the price considering they don't have any real competition, at least for this program.
I was hoping someone might be able to help me out and let me know if I'm getting a decent price or are they screwing me over.
If anyone has experience with this type of work, I would a appreciate a PM.
