Bar Suggestion in Manhattan
My friend is coming in and she's crashing at a friends place in Chelsea area, I'm looking for a few suggestions on bars to hit up (read: NOT CLUBS). Nothing ridiculous, loud, or obnoxious.

1 and 1 bar. its on the corner of 1st ave and 1st st.
mad river grill. 3rd ave and 82nd st.
check out some bars in the village if you want too. off the wagon, down the hatch, etc.
gingerman in midtown. great beer selection.

bowery bar! on east 4th street and bowery.
open to the outdoors.
great place.
if you arent having fun or it gets cold you can shoot across bowery and hit up phebes!!!!!!

my friend is a waitress at b-bar and she used to work at phoebes.
if you want a nice lounge and its nice that night, check out 230 5th ave. its a huge roof top bar/lounge. definitely not a club. no one really dances there, especially up on the roof. there are no specificed dance floors.
