Barry's Biennial LE-1605 Differential Fluid Group Buy
#11
It's a guess that baby oil won't work either 'cuz no one has tried it and sent it to Blackstone. Baby oil is not GL-5 rated nor is LE-1605. Not any more. Doesn't make me happy as I've been using it since I bought the car.
It appears you didn't read the linked thread. Direct contact with Lubrication Engineers, Torsen, and Blackstone Labs was made and documented there.
Up to you. Let us know how the new formula works. But you'll only be a sample of one. I'm not putting the new LE-1605 in my differential. I have two unopened quarts I purchased a couple of months ago that I won't use. $15/quart shipped to you. Let me know.

i just read that thread again and I'm not changing. it seems to be a marketing thing. it's the same fluid. the other LE options are either thicker or thinner. everyone should feel free to do what they want. not sure if this group buy will even fill and happen. I need 24 qts to sell before I order it.
