Default Body shop recommendation on Long Island, NY

I was fixing my garage door and had a large wrench slide off the garage door on to the rear of my S2000 and want to get this fixed. Once I am at it, I want to have the front bumper repainted as it is showing the usual rock chip damage for a 20+ year old car Can someone recommend a precision shop for these repairs? I bought this car new and only have 16,000 miles so I want the repairs done more like a restoration than a typical paint shop process. Maybe I am over thinking this.

RPM in Westhampton. They do S2000s for me regularly.

US cars, at least the late ones, have 10 VIN tags on several body parts including the bumpers and the trunk lid guessing that's the "rear of the car" you wrote. Masking these during any repaint will document they're the original parts which may be important when your widow sells the car. The front bumper needs to come off to be refinished and the faux air intakes masked if they can't be removed. They're black, not body color. When I had my 2006 front bumper refinished I found the paint didn't quite match the "spec" due to aging so a very skilled paint shop is necessary. (I'm guessing the shop Bill has used can manage all this.)

Speak with Erick at Rubio premier motors (RPM) in Westhampton. I have had them completely restore the paintwork on my S2k and they have done work on all my other special cars to my complete satisfaction. Their work is as flawless as realistically possible. Right now they are working on a full resto of my business partners ‘62 Corvette.

I agree with those who said RPM in Westhampton. I had an old-school satellite antenna on the trunk of my S. They removed it, repaired the hole from it (to the point you cannot tell there was ever a hole) and paint matched flawlessly.

Figured I jump in and concur with the previous responses on RPM. I had aftermarket fenders done by RPM a long while ago and they came out like it was factory painted color matched 100%. The guy that did my fenders not sure if he still works there but RPM in general does really great work!

I had them completely repaint my S2000 in the spring of 2017. I recall it cost me $6,500. Pictures won’t do it justice. I would happy happy to show you in person. I’m in the western Long Island area. Private message me if you would like to see.
