i've never pulled one apart. i think doing the front part of the housing shouldn't be an issue as it just bolts on i believe.

Well I am in FL now.
Thinking of moving back to NY if I do then I might hit you up for it. I bought a powder coating kit a while ago so also might try to do it myself once I get set up there.
