incorrect because AP1 with 100k are going for 12k. Car is worth more and you can't cover the aftermarket parts because certain items ant even suppose to be on the car, some items are for off-road use only.

Can’t argue they want me to show them that there are other s2000 same year with about the same mileage and has to be within 50 mile radius. With the limitations that is the average when I did a search there was only about maybe 10 max

Yeah, they're paying you for a stock car.
They're NOT gonna pay you "sentimental value".

Two things:
1. The current market for s2000 are bloated. At least here in CA, AP1 with light mods, HT with over 100,000 miles are asking $20k BUT! they haven't sold! That last part is important. The power of the wallet!
2. NO ONE EVER talks about this, but the reason there's a huge up peak in S2000 theft is BECAUSE THERE'S A DEMAND FOR STOLEN S2000 PARTS!
-
MOST of the parts from an S only fit S's; i.e. hard tops. Help reduce the demand for the parts and I guarantee theft for S's reduces.
Whether you see a suspicious ad on here, Facebook or CL, flag it, comment on it, something to call the attention of someone THINKING about turning their cheek and buying something too cheap/good to be true.
It's not like the S is a common car like other highly stolen Civics and Integras. Even less common in a given area; NYC, Florida, Bay Area.
So yeah, why don't we talk about this, WHICH IS THE ROOT of the problem?
