Pulled the tranny, and a piece of conecting rod fell out of the bell housing :)
I'll pull the pan in another few days, for some serious twisted metal shots.

But to keep Dan happy....

Was this the hydro-locked case?

Elroy303 06-09-2005 03:34 PM

Thanks for keeping me happy, who's better then you Bill! :)

Elroy303 06-09-2005 03:37 PM

And yes, this WAS the hydrolocked case.

NYCS2 06-09-2005 05:23 PM

Damn that just looks like sooooooo much work for some freaking water

The more complicated part of it is pulling the tranny. Once the tranny is unhooked, the motor lifts right up.

Billman250 06-09-2005 07:45 PM

Trans out, then lifts right up after:

Disconnecting harness, pulling through firewall

Disconnecting harness going to pas side fuse block

Evap hoses

Fuel lines

Ground wires

Rad hoses

Heater core lines

Motor mounts

After just spending a few hours in Bills shop to watch the daily progress, I will confirm just how gifted he is in regards to our automobile. I'd gladly go into detail, however I'm just too tired. I'm sure we'll hear about it tomorrow.

Some of us already know ;) :D she'll be better then new when
Bill is done .

Elroy303 06-10-2005 04:59 AM

If Bill has this running by the end of the weekend, I'll give him my first born. Everyone has told me that motor swaps never go as planned, I can now see why.
