Default Got my CR lip installed but....

.... as you can all see there is a problem...and it was free so... I cant complain... amazing work none the less. People forget...




Its new paint so im not touching it now. But I assume in the future I can tape it off and sand the paint off, bring it back to black plastic.. right?

I use the truck bed lining for the bottom. It comes on flat black & it resists any chips/scratches.

interesting..ive heard of plasti-dip but know nothing about it. Under the paint its black, so maybe ill get some 80 grit and sand the paint off as see how it looks. Looking at plasti-sip now. Do I have to sand the bottom portion of the lip or does the plasti dip just spary on over it??


BTW.. I TOLD them to leave the bottom black

i agreee definitely plasti dip it. u dont have to sand it. just tape off and spray. the trick is at least 3 coats but thr more the better

yup just take ur time with it. the coats done have to be heavy at all. id say do about 5 coats. i usually wait about 5 mins or so between coats. usually once the wet look goes away and its matte (hende the 5 mins) i do the next coat
