you know i said the same thing when learning how to drive stick on the s too! for a while i stopped grinding gears...instead i've managed to grind other things that are more noticable...like rims...oops. you'll be fine. it happens to a lot of us.

Yea not a good idea. You may be able to get it to gear in smooth enough, but it puts unnecessary wear and strain on the snchros. Its much cheaper to use your clutch than to replace the carbon fiber synchros in your '06!

Not a problem.. Used to do it all the time with an older car that I had when my clutch was almost completely gone. But I wouldn't do it as an every day practice.
