Default Honda/Acura Care Warranty

I just purchased a new RDX. Thinking of adding a Acura Care warranty - - - everything is on motor or electronic!
I requested a quote from Curry and Hyannis - - - they seem to be pretty active on the Acura forums.
Any other dealers that you have had experience with, that I should consider?
If only Bill offered a service contract .......
Thanks,
Michael

When I first bought my s2000 in 2011, they wouldn't allow me to purchase the car without an extended warranty.

I did, but it was always a fight to get stuff covered.

Hopefully you will have a better outcome

That’s bc they make a lot of money selling the extended warranty. I bought my 08 new with an 8 year warranty. They wanted 4400 for the warranty and i negotiated them to half of that just to give you an idea of how much they mark the price up. It is always a fight to have them honor the warranty. You have to fight every time. It becomes so frustrating.

Honda of white plains

I wanted to walk, but this was the lowest milleage AP2 at the time. Everything else had 30k plus and it was close to home. And I travel far to look at 8 other s2000's. I got them to lower the price, but they forgot who I was. I took so much doe out of them, I show up everyday. They knew me by name, I called everyday, couldnt get rid of me for nothing.

They're not allowed to do that according to New York law 7906. Prohibited acts:
(c) A person, including a bank, savings and loan association, lending institution, manufacturer or seller of any product, shall not require the purchase of a service contract as a condition of a loan or other extension of credit or a condition for the sale or other disposition of any property...
If the warranty is still active, you might see if you can cancel it and get a partial refund.

Sue for damages! Press charges! It's against the law.
