I'm fortunate enough to be a homeowner and I keep my s locked in my garage under 24hr cctv surveillance which is hooked up to my internet so I can see anywhere at anytime, and I also take my steering wheel off the car and keep it in my house, but for those who park it out in the streets I would look for well light areas and if possible park it somewhere that has cameras

I seriously do not understand how guys go cheap on alarms.

GET ONE WITH A DAMN PAGER!!! You don't have to go out and beat the guy up or risk your life but at least you can catch a description of them and their get away car. That increases your chances big time when your call to the police department goes out and patrol cars are on the look out for a vehicle matching the description you just gave not to mention you can say that your car just drove away and in what direction by a guy who looked like ...

Alarm with Pager
Removable steering wheel or steering wheel lock (yes a damn club)
GPS tracker of some kind
Seat locks

Those are just some things that can be installed on a budget that would be the same as a few mods. It doesn't matter how safe your area is or if you park in a garage. Thieves will travel and break into whatever they want just to get it if they really want it. Your best effort is to make it most difficult and slow them down to increase the risk of getting caught.

Had to be the short guy, the guy who needs a pillow to drive his truck.

Yea, my car has a few locks on it so it will take you a while to get to it and its in a garage with an alarm. That shit goes off and everyone and the city board is hearing that shit.
