I've contemplated doing this for the past 3 years...lol issue is I don't want a down pour of water going into my bay. Anyone make a tray or cover for the vents at all?

100+ hoods and not one of them has ever been driven in the rain because the owner fears water going into the bay. /sarcasm

I think you need to put your fears to rest.

the vents are needed when ure boosted or not because you can see any smoke coming out as a warning. trust me I have seen that with mine and was able to turn it off on time

you can also pick which vents to use, i just did the top two and kept the one over the air cleaner "closed".
