Might be buying some new wheels
Hey Metro
I'm sort of interested in buying a set of new wheels, and I'm just wondering what I would need to do to make these fit
Specs:
F: 17x7.5 offset 44
R:18x9.5 offset 44
I'm still very new to aggressive wheels and what modifications I need to do, so any advice would be helpful. I've always just rocked S2000 spec volk wheels on both my s2ks
Thanks guys!
Mike
EDIT: Forgot to mention I am lowered on koni/eibachs so about an inch drop all around

If the front tires are 215 or 225 your fine.
The rears... gonna need to run -3.5 camber, roll, relocate tab just to fit 245... I dont think you want to buy these wheels......

dont need 3.5 deg camber. i had 2.5 deg camber with my 18x9.5 +45 works. 235 azenis fit with a little room to spare, a 245 might have fit i never tried.
all i did was roll, move the bumper tab back and thats it.

Did someone say wheels?
9.5 inch wide wheel. Why would you want a skinny tire on a wide rim? You get more than 90% contact patch on a 255 width at -3.5 on a +44. Roll and relocated tab. Slight pull and you can still get away with less camber. The width of the 255 also depends on tire brand, some 255's run like they are 265, some run like they are 245. Either way those wheels are not a hard fitment.
Jimel ran a 9.5 inch wide wheel on a 245 with only -3.5 degree of camber and that's on a +38. You should undeniably be able to run a 255 on a x9.5 +44 with a roll, relocated tab, shaved bumper, and a good alignment.
I ran a 255 Advan tire on a x9 with a +42 tucked with -3.5 camber. If my car was higher I'd probably get away with -3.

thanks alot bungholio! i'm really on the verge of buying a set of prodrives gc07cs in nsx spec. just wanted to know how they will fit. is -3 camber a little too extreme or no

You can still maintain full 100% contact patch at -2.5 camber. With -3 you'll probably be at 98%-97% contact patch? I remember at one point I was running -4.8 camber (insert flame here) and I had about 85-90% contact patch still although the outer edges of the tires were floating on air.
