that triple play summed up the mets 09 season. just when you thought you have seen everything this yr from missing bases, to dropped pop ups, you see a game ending unassisted triple play.

subway series picture i took last year at shea, thought i'd share this here. I was in the second row from the top in the upper deck when i took this shot with a telephoto lense set at 200mm. You can actually see how the ball is deformed by the impact of the bat.

just wanted to share.

yea the cork inside the does get crushed by the impact of the bat.

the best pics are of when the bat is bending when it makes contact with the ball.

Wags to the Sox, I'm hoping they do well, I liked Billy despite totally blowing up in '07 vs the Skanks.

i dont see the red sox using wagner that much. they have a pretty stacked bullpen already. he will probably be a lefty specialist or pitch one inning here and there.

Postseason is all about the bullpen, especially those 8 hour Sox/Yanks games, so even in that environment Wags will see some action. Plus, he's not afraid to let out a good cry every one in a while.
