he had track times...the nsx was still faster, but not by much. same driver. i dunno, thats back when i was looking into getting a genesis 2.0T, had a ton of trouble at the hyundai dealers, so i picked up my 09 FA5 instead.

I guess I'll be buying a turbo kit after all, dont want any these running up on me

One of the guys here has a Gen coupe and was telling me about this the other day. We came to the conclusion that he should be able to swap the turbo and get his ECU updated @ the dealer to make the same power.

I like the Genesis myself, and if I were looking for a car in that category and price range it'd be a strong contender. Part of that is because by supporting cars like the Genesis and/or Hyundai in general, it keeps them in a position to push the envelope and that's how the industry evolves. If everyone bought base model Corollas and Civics, we'd be screwed.

if you can find a stripped down 2.0T 6 speed, the car is supposed to be $22k. thats a great deal for that kind of performance!!

One of my neighbors has a 2.0T, upgraded turbo back exhaust and ecu, car is damn fast. Factory equipped brembos are nice as well. For that money, it's a bargain. Korean engineering and technology has improved tremendously over the past decade.
