ok, so with my basic membership... how do i lock my own thread? How do i close one? Do i have an email address? Also, i recently renewed my membership and have yet to receive my new S2Ki cards?

I never received a card. They stopped it sometime last year. To lock your own thread, first you have to be viewing that thread. Then on the bottom of the page there is a drop down menu that says moderation options. Click it and you will see the appropriate line for it. Then click Go. Voila!

For an s2ki email, pm username 'cthree' --- i personally do not have one. I like gmail too much.
