Default OEM Hardtop Help

Hello all!

I'm going to be purchasing an OEM hardtop off of someone and it isn't in great condition. I would like to have it repainted.

Does anyone know of any good places to go in the tri state area? (Westchester, NY is a bonus).

Thanks.

i believe Franks Auto Body in port chester does good work. i recall a member on here having a good portion of the car done and was very pleased. it also has good reviews online.

Update!

I went to Frank's Auto body and had the top repainted. They were a little slow, because they had a lot of insurance work to do apparently, but their work is quality and i'm very happy with it. I'll post photos tomorrow If I get the chance.

The photos were with the top not fully mounted but you get the idea.

$800. They repainted the top, and matte black area by the windows... there was also a little bit of rusting happening in one spot on the HT that they had to address.

Yeah. A big thanks to you for mentioning them. I'll likely go to them for a few other jobs in the future.

Rusting? Pretty sure that shouldn't happen to aluminum. Did you see this issue before hand?
