Hey all! I'll be visiting NYC in May this year! One thing I'd like to do most is watch a game of NBA at the garden!
But it seems so difficult to even get tickets? Is it always like that? Anyone can give me tips and pointers?
I'm coming from Australia and I'd really like to watch a game when I'm there!

It has become VERY difficult since Jeremy Lin. Your best bet right now is www.stubhub.com

Expect to pay 500 and up for a pair of decent seats for a good game against a good opponent. Anything against the Heat, Celtics, Bulls will be a high price ticket.

Yeah I thought as much. I was appalled at the prices for certain sections.
So what game would you recommend watching? Also what sections are decent at the garden? Obviously 107 and 117 must be fantastic seats... But the prices are just astronomical.
$500 to $600 for a pair of seats would be most I'm willing to pay really.

Also I'm after a CR front lip (and other parts as I see fit ;p) and am planning to get one while there. Can anyone point me somewhere?

Mods: I'm going to post here to ask questions about NYC unless you say GTFO.. cheers

for food recommendations, after you watched the avengers. wondering what they had at the very end of the movie?

"king of falafel and shawarma" located in astoria queens. 2nd best halal place in nyc imo. definitely worth a try on their chicken platter.
Their website

another place, "53rd and 6th halal food"
BEST HALAL IN NEW YORK CITY!
Link to their YELP page

and gotta have some "Kung Fu Tea" in flushing. i'd recommend their regular bubble tea, or the taro milk tea.

Thanks ill check that modells out today sometime! Went to chinatown, little Italy, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges today. Probably not going to make it to the subway series finale tonight but we are going to Yankees and Indians tomorrow and Tuesday, any recommendations on a cool sports bar to watch the game tonight at?
