Hey whats going on guys. Just replying to the mini cooper, s2000 comparison question. I can safely say both are 2 completely different cars, and i miss my s like no other. But,... i would be lying if i didnt say i really really enjoy the mini. I wanted to drive it for a bit before i made any rash calls about the car because well it was still new, and of course it would be awesome. But after spending time with it,... its still really funny. A hoot to drive. Handling wise ( i know its fwd ) it feels pretty damn close to the s2000 go-kart type of handling, but the mini wins hands down in steering feel dept. While the s could put down some impressive numbers 0-60, and could always get out of its own way,... the mini FEELS ( its definately not though ) quicker. I attribute that to the turbo. Aside from these i cannot compare the cars further. One is a toy, a convertible, awesome car to drive around and actually enjoy driving. The other you can actually pack for a vacation and still get over 400 miles to a tank of gas, and if you want to... you can get it moving pretty damn quick. All in all. The mini is an awesome daily... the s, next a lotus is the most fun you can and should be having on the weekends.
