Hi, I am new to the group....I own a 2005 GPW since new, and just turned 34k miles.....I am thinking the car needs some "midlife" servicing and maybe some mild upgrades. I am looking for a professional and competent shop for mechanical work, pretty much anywhere in NJ or on LI would work....will consider PA or CT, depending on locations. Does anyone on here have any recommendations on a shop to use, or avoid, for that matter?
