Pfab Turbo Build
Hey everyone, im trying to join alot of metro people by boosting the s2k, i was wondering if theres anyone around has the pfab kit or experience with it and also if there are people with 06+ that are boosted that i could talk to about my build and theres. also my goals are to to be a daily driver and be around 400whp with the abilties to go to 475-500 in the future..heres a list i put together for my build am i missing anything?

I'm pretty sure no one in Metro has the log kit. I run Pang's equal length v-band setup - and joeyballs has his divided equal length mani.
First and foremost - are you planning on running stock cr or a headgasket? Who will be tuning this? At a quick glance, you will also need: Oil feed and return, fittings etc Walbro 255 ARP Manifold Studs EGR block off plate Boost Control Solenoid Heat protection for fusebox/battery or relocate |
i plan on going to evans tuning, and was also gonna recloate battery to trunk and rotate fusebox 90degrees and wasnt planning on changing headgasket..and i also seen that inlinepro just came out with a return style fuel system kit, was thinkin of adding that to the list as well
|
also i dont need a block off plate since im 06 dbw correct?
|
If you want 500+ in the future you have to get that return kit.
Yes no block off plate. |
i still don't understand why people put logs on such a good motor with a high flowing head :(
|
because they are cheaper, will not break and don't usually require relocation of the battery/fusebox
sure, tubular manifolds flow better, but they are not without trade-offs |
theres more than one reason not to have exhaust gasses from different cylinders firing AT each other.
|
but for the gasket situation , it seems 50/50 with people saying you need it and pple you saying you dont, ip recommends it but mase doesnt..any input?
